Interjections Class 3 English Grammar Worksheet – Fill in the blanks uses Interjections, Underline the Interjections
Interjections
Note : An interjection is a phrase or word used to indicate or express any sudden feeling. The interjection is used at the beginning of the sentence, followed by an exclamation mark (!) .
Example – Hurrah, alas, bravo, wow, oh, ouch, hello etc.
Read the sentences
- Wow! What a beautiful bird.
- Hurrah! Our team has won the match.
- Ssh! You will wake up the baby.
- Alas! His dog is missing.
- Ouch! I hurt my leg.
These interjection is used to express joy, wonder, praise or sudden grief.
