Ans: – The flock of wild geese lived in a tall tree in a deep forest.

Ans:- The old wise bird advised to the other geese to destroy the small creeper because that little creeper will grow soon and as it creeper up this tree , it will become thick and strong with the help of that, it will be possible for someone to climb this tree , a hunter can come up and kill all geese.

Ans: – The geese did not destroy the creeper; they forgot the wise old bird’s advice. And then as the creeper grow, it began winding its way up the tree and become stronger. And one morning when the geese had gone out in search of food, a hunter came to the forest and climbed up the tree with that creeper. He spread a net there to catch the geese.

Ans: – The foolish geese was crying “ help! help!” because when the geese returned home in the evening they did not notice the net that the hunter sp[read there as they struggled herd to get out but could not . Then they started to cry.
(e) Why did the geese think themselves to be foolish?
Ans: – the geese thought themselves to be foolish because they did not listen to the old bird’s advice and as a result of this they were trapped into the hunter’s net.
(f) Why did the geese pretend to be dead?
Ans: – The geese pretended to be dead because the old wise bird told them to do so , so that they can rescued themselves from the hunter . Because the hunter will not want dead birds and as he will throw them to the ground, it will then be easy for him to climb down and collect the dead birds and when the lost of the birds has been thrown down, they will get the chance to quickly get up and fly away.
(g) What did the hunter see in the next morning? Then what did he do? What did happen then?
Ans: – In the next morning when the hunter came to the tree and climbed up , he saw all the bird were dead. Then he threw them out of the net one by one unknowingly the fact that they were still alive . Then the birds lay still until the last one had been thrown down. Then all at once , they got up and flew away . and the hunter was surprised and he watched from the top of the tree all the geese fly away.
