Elephant Composition: Elephants are quite large animals of all which are commonly found in India and Africa. Elephants are normally grey in colour but in Thailand we can find white elephants too. Forests are the natural habitats of elephants but humans force them to live in zoos and work in forests. Elephants are obedient in nature for which humans make them work for various purposes. We should be more kind to elephants for let them living comfortably. Elephants contribute in our environment by many ways for which it is our responsibility to not disturb their habitat too. In this composition, we will discuss about elephants, their characteristics and impact on nature in details.
Description:
Elephant has four big legs which symbolises as pillars. They have two big ears which looks like fans. Male elephants have two big teeth called tusks. They have a special feature which is called trunk. Elephants are the longest live animal which can live 5-70 years. The longest lived elephants died at 86 years of age as per records. Female animals like to roam in groups whereas male elephants like to live their solitary life. Elephants are intelligent which make them learn any activity easily than any other animals. Humans use elephants for their transports and entertainment purposes.
Importance of elephants:
Elephants are a great nature’s gift to us which are helping us in many ways. It is our responsibility to protect elephants for maintaining the nature’s cycle. Being strong intelligent creature elephants are capable to understand emotions. Elephants have earned respect from people of Africa who shared landscape with them. Elephants are main attraction in places for which tourism industry gets flourished. Elephants are significant creature in wildlife for maintaining ecological balance as they dig ground for water with their tusks. With it they become able to survive in dry climate and help other animals to survive. Elephants feed on green grass, leaves, branches, vegetables etc. and create gaps within plants. In the gaps pants find space for new growth and creates pathways for other animals. Elephant dung is also beneficial as it contains seeds of several fruits which they eat. From the dung new plants and saplings grow in forests which increase the source of vegetation and their food.
Conclusion:
For the increasing deforestation and urbanization elephants are losing their natural habitat with time. As a result, they come to nearby locality sometime for finding food. For the lack of habitat and food elephants are now endangered species in our country. We should be more responsible and aware to conserve this important creature for keeping the ecological balance in track. Greedy humans hunt elephants for collecting valuable tusks, skin and bones of elephants which will give them he price. The government should be strict to implement laws for preventing illegal hunting of elephants. We should be more aware about protecting the faithful and helpful creature in earth.
