Winter Season in India Composition: India is a place where we experience seasonal diversion in changing seasons. We mainly get three seasons namely summer, monsoon and winter in a year. In tropical regions people get winter for really short period whereas it remains for longer in hilly regions of places above sea level. We do not have to experience extreme cold throughout the year as season keeps changing with climate. In hilly regions temperature exceeds to zero and minus when people face extremity. In extreme cold, people literally go in hibernation as surroundings get covered with snow. Roads get blocked which disrupts normal transportation and people have to remain within their homes for self-protection from cold. In this composition, we will describe different effects of winter in places and how people react and live with it.
Description of winter season:
In tropical, temperate and grassland regions winter mainly lasts for three- four months which is from November to February. People who experience hot and humidity for the long-time of a year, winter is kind of celebration time for them. Seasonal fruits like orange, grapes, berries, carrots, lemons etc. produced during winter. Various flowers like marigold, dahlia, sunflower, orchids, tulips, rose etc. blossom in winter ad make our environment colourful. People spend their time in celebration, picnic, small and long vacations as the environment become really comfortable. On the other hand, northern part of India including states like Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi etc. get extreme cold in those four months. Sunray falls bluntly and allow us to enjoy sunlight for long time. Many tourist places like Darjeeling, Shimla, Kashmir,Manali, Uttarakhand become crowded during winter as people go there to enjoy snowfall.
Its significance in life:
Like summer and monsoon we experience winter for quite a longer period. Hilly regions get snowfall in winter which creates an exceptional and significant view for all of us. People from extreme cold places of India migrate to warmer places for spreading their business and continuing their livelihood. People go to hilly areas during winter to enjoy snowfall in winter and enjoy the snow events and plays that are arranged only in winter. In winter season, birds of different species migrate to our country for saving themselves from extreme cold. We enjoy, party, celebration, picnic, trips and small vacations during winter as we all remain in celebration mood at that time. Holidays like Christmas, New Year falls in winter which allow us to celebrate the season with full vibes.

Every season has its own significance and effects in our life so is winter. Winter brings different feelings for different regions. We feel comfort in winter after relieving from the scorching hot. On the other hand, hilly regions go to complete hibernate during winter and face lack of resources which create difficulties in their livelihood, as a result, they have to go out of the region or come to low areas from topper level of mountains as the places get completely covered with snow in winter.
