There was once a hat seller named Shambhu. Everyday before he went to sell caps he used to wear one himself. Shambhu used to wear a red hat as it was his favouritecolour. One day while he was selling hats, Shambhu became very tired. He sat down under the shade of a tree to take some rest. After some time he had fallen asleep. When he woke up, he saw that all of his hats were gone. He looked here and there but found no cap anywhere. By chance he looked up. To his great surprise, he saw the monkey wearing the hats and sitting on the branches of the tree. He did not know what to do. Then he hit upon a plan. He took his own hat and threw it on the ground, being afraid of it. Watching the hat seller, the monkeys also threw down their hats on the ground. Shambhu got back all his hats.

There once was a dog named Ronny. Ronny was a greedy dog. One day he stole a piece of meat from the butcher’s shop. Ronny took the meat and ran away. While running away he came to the bridge over a river. While he was on the bridge, he saw his own reflection on the water. He thought it to be another dog with a piece of meat in his mouth. He wanted that piece too. So he opened his mouth and tried to grab the other meat. However, while doing so, Ronny lost the grip over his meat and it fell into the river. The piece of meat was then carried away by the river. It was Ronny’s greediness that made him lose what he had.

Tansen held a high position at Akbar’s court. He was not liked by many. They were jealous of him. They requested Akbar to ask Tansen to sing Deepak Raag. It was a wonderful Raag. When sung properly it makes the environment warm that a deepak or lamp will catch fire. As a result of which the singer will also pass away. Akbar did not know that the Raag could have such an effect. So he ordered Tansen to sing the Deepak Raag. Tansen could not refuse the emperor. However, he had taught his daughters the RaagMeghmallar that brings rain. The names of Tansen’s daughters were Saraswati and Rupabati.
