Balance chemical Equation
The balance chemical equation has equal number of atom of different elements in the reactant and product.
- Due to equal number of atom of various elements in reactant and product are equal, we say that balance chemical equation has equal masses in various elements in reactant and product.
- A balance chemical equation is based on law of conservation of mass.
- According to the law of conservation of mass “ mass can neither be created nor destroyed during a chemical reaction.
- The method used for balancing chemical equation is called hit and trial method.
Unbalanced chemical equation:
An unbalanced chemical equation has unequal number of atom of one or more elements in the reactant and product.
Because number of atom of various elements in the reactant and product is unequal we can say that unbalanced equation has unequal masses of various elements in the reactant and product.
Unbalanced chemical equation is also called as skeletal equation.
Balance the chemical equation:
Example:
Both the side has equal number of Carbon, hydrogen, oxygen.
Both the side has equal number of ferrous, hydrogen, oxygen.
Example:
Both the side has equal number of Nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen.
Both the side has equal number of Nitrogen, hydrogen,
