Naryan Murthy’s heart sank in sorrow because even though he had qualified i’s entrance exam with excellent marks his father wasn’t able to afford his education because of his family condition. since it was his dream to get educated there and he was refused to be given an opportunity he felt very sad
3.) How did Murthy react when his father expressed his helplessness to send him to IIT?
Murthy accepted his fate and did not react violently or aggressively to his father’s decision. He was an introvert and did not express his unhappiness and disappointment to anybody. On the other he felt like all his dreams had turn into ashes , he was extremely dejected.

There were few ups and downs in his life and the first of them was that his family could not afford for his education at the IIT. seeing all his friends leaving for that education he filled dejected and jealous and determined that even though he would not get to have a degree from that education institution it is his hard work that will make him great one day
