Will and Would Worksheet
A modal auxiliary verb is used to change a verb’s mood.
These verbs can be used with main verbs to form a sentence.
Will and Would both are types of Modal Auxiliary verbs.
Most commonly used Modal Auxiliary verbs are listed below:

Will –
Will is used in sentences to form future tenses.
Will can be used to convey ideas about future possibilities, beliefs.
Example-
1) Your Grandmother will tell you a bedtime story before sleeping.
Won’t is a negative form of Will.
Example-
1) Please Don’t Abandon your pet. He won’t survive on the road.
Will can also be used to to make offers or commitments,
Example-
Your future is secured with this family.
Chandani will treat you well and also she will take care of your family.
Would –
Would is the past tense of Will.
Would indicates previous or past events or sometimes it conveys past events with the possibility of future.
Example-
No one knew whether Isha would come or not.
I would prefer to study.
I would like to give you a small gift on your birthday.
Wouldn’t / Would not is a negative form of would.
Example-
I wouldn’t dare to go there if i were you.
