1) Himadri or the Greater Himalayas
This is the northern most and the highest range of the Himalayas. It is very cold as it remainscovered with snow throughout the year. So, it is very scarcely populated and the vegetationfound includes fir, shrubs etc.

3) Shivalik or Outer Himalayas

4) The Northern Plains
