Answer the following questions.
1) Why does the student consider the teacher as his friend?
Answer: When the student needed someone in his bad times, it was his teacher who was there for him. His teacher had concern for him . This is why the students considered the teacher as his friend.
2) How does the teacher take the student out of his gloom?
Answer: When the student was in deep state of sadness, it was his teacher who helped him. His teacher brought the true soul of him. Whenever the student was in a sad state, the teacher would be by his side, guiding and showing him the right path.The teacher always ask him how is he doing and his concern really tells the student how genuine the teacher is.
3) Why does the student fail to estimate the teacher correctly?
Answer: When the student went to next class, he thought that their bond would not be the same and their trust would fade by the time. But whenever the teacher saw him, he would ask him about his well-being, and this is how the student realizes that the teacher has not been changed.
4) How does the poet glorify the relationship between the teacher and the student?
Answer: In the learnt poem, we can see that there is unconditional love of the teacher toward his student. When the student was all alone and sad, it was the teacher who helped him coming out that phase and showed him his true soul. Though the times have changed, the teacher never fails to ask his student about his well-being.The poem shows the true bonding between the teacher and the student that is unbreakable no matter how the times have changed.
5) What qualities does a trustworthy person need to have?
Answer: Affection, listening to others with complete attention, not judging anyone, understanding others’ feelings are the most important qualities that a trustworthy person needs to have.
6) Do you think it’s is a good idea to take an adult’s help when you are in trouble or confused?
Answer: It is absolutely important to seek help of someone who is older and more experienced in the times of trouble. Adults have more experience and they know how to handle situation in more sorted way, so it is better to their help. They can be our guiding lights and take us out of the trouble.
