Speech on Indian Leaders As World Heroes
INTRODUCTION
Good morning to respected principal, teachers and all my dear friend. Today I want to deliver a speech on “Indian leader as a world heroes”. It was very proud moment for me to give a speech on this topic .
BODY
India got freedom because of the contribution of our great leaders .Many leaders had sacrificed their lives for freedom of India from the British rule. From that, one was Mahatma Gandhi especially we called “Bapu”. Mahatma Gandhi was born on 2 October 1869 in Porbandar. He completed his studied in law degree from inner temple of London. Mahatma Gandhiji was the leader who follow the path of non-violence to free India from British rule. He started seven major freedom movements, from that one was Dandi March also known as Salt Satyagraha. Many people join the Satyagraha campaign and it was the biggest March in Indian history. The aim of Gandhiji was to free India from British rule, to demolish untouchability and remove taxes on salt, to improve the relation of Hindu and Muslim. He also taught people to follow the truth path. His word was the inspiration for millions of people . Like Mahatma Gandhi other great leader was Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru especially we called “Chacha Nehru “. He was the first prime minister of India.He was born on 14th November 1889 in Allahabad. He was awarded with Bharat Ratna .He has completed his graduation in natural Science from England. In 1916 he joined Home rule movement .After meeting Mahatma Gandhi he entered in freedom struggle and involve in non- cooperation movement in 1920. He was put in jail on charge of anti-government activities .He also participated in civil disobedience movement launched by Gandhi and was sent to jail for four years. After independence he also faced the pain of partition. You all know about the leader whose slogan was “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan” , he was none other than LalBahadurShastri .He was the second prime minister of India.He was born on 2nd October 1904 in Mughalsarai ( now called as Deen Dayal Upadhyay) Uttarpradesh. When he was boy from that time he was struggled for freedom of India. When he was sixteen he joined non -cooperation movement against British government in India .He was the creative man who led the country toward progress. Another great leader was the memeber of drafting committee and draft the constitution of India was Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar .He was born on 14 April 1891 in how , Madhya Pradesh.He was the great scholar ,writer, lawyer and the freedom fighter of India. He was the leader who fought against caste discrimination, inequalities in India .He provided reservation for Dalit communities and for other religion. He believed that education can be provided to every section of society.
CONCLUSION
Through this we all get to know about the freedom fighters struggle for India. We are proud to be Indian where great leaders had sacrificed their lives to provide freedom to us. So we should not forget their sacrifices for India.
