The Mouse and the Cake
Answer each of the following questions in a sentence or two:
1.) What kind of cake did the mouse find?
Answer: The mouse found a piece of plum cake.
2.) Why did the mouse want to hide with the cake?
Answer: The mouse wanted to hide with the cake because he wanted to keep that hidden from its brother.
3.) How did the mouse eat the cake?
Answer: The mouse nibbled and nibbled the cake and panted yet he gulped it down.
4.) Why did the mouse become unwell?
Answer: The mouse became unwell because he ate all the cake himself.
5.) What did the doctor tell the mouse?
Answer: The doctor told the mouse that he had been unwell because he had eaten the cake all by himself. Had he shared the cake with his friends and family, he would not have fallen ill.
6.) What is the lesson you learn from the poem?
Answer: I learnt that we must share things with our closed ones. We should not be greedy.

Answer: Yes, I share what I have. I have habit of sharing things with my family and friends. I love sharing food because it makes me happy.

Answer: Almost all pet animals share its food. Yes, if I had laddu, I would share it with my pet.
