10th April 2019
Campaign on of cleaning our school was organized on 9th April 2019. This programme was organized with the vision of creating an environment of hygiene and cleanliness in schools. These type of campaigns are generally organized for teaching students the importance of hygiene and how cleaning effects our minds. The function started at exactly 9 a.m. after the school assembly where respected principal explained us the importance of cleanliness and how our health is completely dependent on how we clean our environment. From class 1st to 5th students were given the task to clean the corridor of the school and sanitize it. Class 6th to 8th were asked to clean the classrooms and the desks. And class 10th to 12th students were asked to clean the school premises and sports room, also monitor the cleaning of corridors and classrooms. After all the cleaning every student was called upon in the common hall of the school for snacks and to share their experience on stage by the representatives. I was the representative of class 10th and I shared the experience of cleaning the ground and sports room and that I felt extremely happy after cleaning as it was a very self awarding experience. Every class representative came up on stage and shared their experiences of how they cleaned and bonded with friends while cleaning. I hope to see these kind of programs in our school each year. We all were very happy to see our school clean and sanitized. Every school should organize these kind of programs to inculcate the best of students minds. At 1 pm after the speech we all were given a review form to fill and share our individual experience. At 2 pm the program ended and we all were allowed to go to our respective homes. These type of campaigns are a must for every school to teach students importance of hygiene and how we should keep our surroundings clean.
