FIRST ACTIVITY
Supposed to student sit on eachbench in the class. You set with a student who is your fast friend . Today a new student who is from other state and speaks different language has joined your class . The teacher has told you that this student will sit with you from today.
What thoughts came in your mind regarding that student ? You have to not down these thoughts yourself and read them . Then evaluate your tolerance yourself.
Students have to put a tick or a cross against each statement for the purpose of evaluation.
1.) I should not sit on my bench .
2.) I felt good that this student has come from some other state . I will gain some knowledge about his state.
3.) I don’t like it. In the next period I will ask him to sit on some other bench .

Question.1 Why did Manjeet not get angry on being called ‘Chottoo’ by his fellow students?
Answer: Manjeet had less height so his fellow students teased him by calling Chottoo but he had watched a movie in which there was a boy like him who used to teased by people by the name Chottoo and he replied that one day I will become great through my good deeds . This movie impacted on Manjeet and he also decided that he will not get angry on someone calling him Chottoo.
Question.2 If you react with tolerance at your home, in your school , neighborhood and relationship, what benefits can you achieve . Write down your answer on the basis of the above story.
Answer: The benefits that I can achieve with tolerance are:
1.) I can focus on my studies
2.) I can understand things positively
3.) I will get less anger issues
4.) I can ignore negativity
5.) If people will tease me,It will not affect me
Question 3. Do you feel that one can live more peacefully in the society by being tolerant ?
Answer: Yes, I feel that one can live more peacefully in the society by being tolerant because of people irritate them then they can tolerate them easily and it will not affect their mental health.
