Eligibility Criteria for NEET UG
- To get admission to a medical university, NEET is compulsory for the Indian as well as overseas aspirants.
- Aspirants who have cleared the class 12 final examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects are eligible to apply for NEET.
- They must have scored more than 50% marks in the 12th from any recognized board.
- On 31 December of the year of admission, students should have minimum age 17 years. This is the age limit for the NEET-UG exam.

Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme for NEET Exam 2024
As previous years, the exam pattern of the 2024 year for NEET is same. The NEET exam is a multiple choice question test based on subjects like Chemistry, Physics and Biology. The exam will be having 180 questions. Aspirants need to attain both the Botany and Zoology part as they will be included in the biology subject.
