Aspirants should have passed a 10+2 or equivalent diploma with Chemistry, Physics, English, Biology/Biotechnology from a recognized board. Minimum and maximum age limit

The aspirants having age above 17 years are can only apply for the NEET exam. In the month of March, there was a notice announced by the official website that shows removal of the age limit for NEET eligibility criteria. For the general category the 25 years was the upper age limit for NEET examination. And, the reserved category has 30 years.

The person with disability or PwD aspirants have 3% reservation. This is applicable for the aspirants with PWD.

Nationality Criteria for NEET 2024

To be eligible for NEET, students should be an Indian nationals, PIOs, Foreign nationals, NRIs.

  • All India Quota Seats in NEET Eligibility Criteria

The 15% All India Quota seats are there for the aspirants who will crack the NEET UG 2024 exam. In DU, total 85% seats are allotted for those who have passed class 10 and class 12 from Delhi.

  • State Quota Seats in NEET Eligibility Criteria

All government colleges of states/union territories respectively have 85% seats. There is only a condition that students have to be eligible according the NEET criteria.

Code 01 In the year 2024, students who are giving the class 12 board examination need to select this code. Also, those waiting for the board’s result. If not, then they will be disqualified from the exam as per the criteria.

 

2. Code 02

Students who come after a time of 12 years of study will have to select this code. In simple words, those studying for the higher/senior secondary examination or Indian School Certificate Examination or ISCE. This education is quite similar to the class 12 examination. Moreover, the subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Biology/Biotechnology should be studied in the last two years of their studies. After 12, if anyone has not pursued any other course then they also have to choose this code.

Code 03 After completion of the Intermediate/Pre-degree examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognized authority (with subjects like Chemistry, Physics, English, and Biology/Biotechnology), the students have to choose this code. If the students have completed class 12 or its equivalent education from a state board, they should select this code.

 

4. Code 04

A Pre-professional/Pre-medical examination is completed by students after passing either the higher secondary examination or the Pre-university or equivalent examination with all subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and English as mandatory subjects and Biology/Biotechnology have to select this code.

Code 05 This code should be chosen by those students who are studying the three-year degree course from a recognized university and have cleared the first year with practical tests. Before this, don’t forget that class 12 education with the PCB group is also included here.

Students who have completed the BSc examination from an Indian-recognized university must select this code.

Code 07

If a student qualifies for any other examination after passing class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology should select this code.
