2.) What are the major components of physical fitness?
Ans: Physical fitness can be classified into health related fitness and skill-related fitness. The health-related components are:
(i) Cardiovascular Fitness, (ii) Muscular Strength, (iii) Muscular Endurance, (iv) Body Composition and (v) Flexibility. The skill-Related
Fitness Components are: (i) Agility, (ii) Balance, (iii) Neuro Muscular Adaptations and Coordinative abilities, (iv) Speed, (v) Strength, and (vi) Reaction Time.
3.) What is the difference between speed and strength?
Ans: Speed is the ability to move your body or parts of your body swiftly. Strength is the state or quality or property of being strong.
4.) Why well-being cannot be achieved without physical fitness?
Ans: We all know that being active is vital to physical health. It low blood pressure, increase energy levels, helps with relaxation and improves human health in general. Staying active is also very helpful with our mental wellbeing. Even though we know staying active is important but sometimes busy life can hamper on being healthy. There are so many people nowadays are inactive and this could be even more harder with the people with serious mental health problems, which may mean they could have more physical health problems such as diabetes, hypertension or many more.
5.) What happens if an individual ignores warming up and cooling down for the workout?
Ans: It can increase the risk of getting injury, pain and fatigue. Aim of warm-up is to prepare the mentally and physical fit student.
