JNVST Notification 2024: The government of India started the initiative Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas according to the national policy of education for providing quality education among children. The school provides co-educational facility in conventional school education pattern which is monitored by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous body of the government of India. Students get chances to enroll in class VI within Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya through selection test. The medium of instruction is regional language up to class VII and after that students have to learn science and mathematics in English and other subjects in Hindi. Students appear in their board’s exam after completing curriculum of secondary examination which is organised by central board of secondary education. Though education system is free for all purposes in JNV still candidates of class IX to XII have to pay Rs. 600/- towards Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi in which some categories are exempted as per the government rules. Eligibility to apply for Navodaya Class 6 Admission Exam (JNVST):

At first, candidates must fulfill the age requirements of JNV as the board mentioned in its official notification. Students must be born within the dates for being eligible to apply for the admission test. Students have to pass class V under any government recognised school which is located in the same district for which they are willing to apply in class VI selection test. They have to issue certificate of birth and result of class V examination during application process. If students belong to any minority or exempted category then they have to issue that certificates as well.

Procedure of Application:

Students and their guardians must know that they can submit application through the online mode of application by website www.navodaya.gov.in. Registration in the official website is absolutely free for candidates which they can do through admission portal itself. Before going through the application process students must read the entire prospectus or notification for their complete information. After that they can go through the application by filling up the form with all credentials and basic details. Students have to upload their signature, parent’s signature, certificate of birth, residential certificate, aadhar details, address, certificate verified by headmaster of the last school etc. which are mandatory for filling up the application.

Selection test:

The board has already published the official test for class VI JNVST in its official notification. Students have to keep their application copy with enrollment number for taking admit cards before the selection exam. The admit cards will be available in the application portal before the test which students can download from there. They must bring the admit cards for appearing in the exam without which they will be not allowed to take the exam. Apart from that candidates should focus on their preparation for performing well and get selected in the final selection.

Provisional selection and final admission:

Candidates should know the fact that their names in provisional selection list do not assure their final selection in class VI. It shows that students will get chance for their admission. But final admission will be possible only after verifying their scores and other official documents. Any request from students’ side about re-evaluation of answer sheets will not be entertained as the process if completely computer based and it is checked with utmost care. Candidates can be migrated to any Hindi spoken or non-Hindi spoken state during any academic year. If any candidate or their guardians oppose it then their candidature will be cancelled by the board.
