Dear Bishal,
How are you? I am fine and safe here with my family and hope to hear the same from you. It is been long I haven’t written to you. I understand you must be eagerly waiting for my letter. So, I thought of writing to you to share with you how I spend this “New Normal” period.
This year is completely different from the previous years. We are facing this pandemic for the first time in a decade. Unfortunately this pandemic life has become “new normal” life. Everything had changed suddenly. Lockdown had been started at the end of March. Now I am home quarantined like other students. My father and mother are also doing work from home. Even I am also doing my school from home. So I have made a daily routine in the lockdown. First, I am doing some exercises in my room and on our roof in the morning daily so that I can keep myself fitness. I do it for forty minutes then I drink milk and sit for my online class on Zoom. Every day four classes of forty minutes each are conducted. The teachers make us understand the lessons through Power Point Presentation. Our E-Class continues from 9:00am to 1:00pm and after each class we are given twenty minutes break. After that I have bath and we all sit together for lunch. This is what I really enjoy during this period. In the evening I play indoor games with my parents for some time. In the evening after completing my school assignment I also read story books, as you know reading books is my hobby. Hey! I have almost forgotten to tell you that my mother has made a little garden on our roof and I am tendering the trees daily. When I feel monotonous, I watch movie on television and mobile phone. And yes! using mask and sanitizer has become a part of life. Although I know now we can’t come out from this “new normal” life easily but I’m really looking forward for the bright days when I could go to my school, meet my friends and teachers. The school playground and the basketball court, the Class and the House Assemblies and the different events – I miss them all! This kind of house-arrest is longer liked by me.
No more today. Convey my warmest regards to uncle and aunt and lots of love for you and your little brother. Do write to me about how you spending time in this new situation. Take care. Tata!
Yours Anuj
Thank you
