Subject: Need of Educational Counsellors
Sir
Through esteemed columns of your newspaper I would like to draw attentions regarding the problems which every students are facing. We know that education helps students to express their hidden talents as well as increase their knowledge. But in reality, the bookish knowledge is more important that students are burdened with lots of homework, classwork and huge syllabus for examinations. Therefore they do not get any time involve in other curriculum activities and develop their skills. Due to huge pressure students are getting afraid day by day. Even sometimes, students select their stream forced by peer pressure or parental pressure and regret it later.
So, I think that there is a need of educational counsellors for guidance that can reduce the fear of the students and show them the right path. I hope that the school authorities will definitely look over this situation and this solution.
Yours faithfully

Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper of The Times of India, I would like to draw attention of the school authorities towards the problem the students are facing in recent times due to the large syllabus and examination pressure, thereby refraining them from other extracurricular activities. The education system has become more bookish and exam oriented and therefore the actual talents and skills of the students are not taken into consideration.
Hence, I humbly request the school authorities to appoint educational counsellors in every school as this will help the students to bring showcase their self-acquired skills and talents and also will be able to choose the appropriate stream for pursuing higher studies in colleges and universities.
Hoping the concerned authorities take this matter seriously, upon seeing this letter in your publication..
Yours sincerely,
Prakash Sharma
