Letter to inform friend about my visit to a historical place
Sub: to inform friend about my visit to a historical place.
My dear friend,
It has been a long time since I have listened from you last time. I was missing you from last two days. I hope you are doing well in your life. Last week we went to visit the famous historical place of Bangladesh named Lalbagh fort from our school. It is an amazing experience to visit such wonderful historical and archaeological site in our country. Lalbagh means red garden which symbolises the reddish or pinkish architecture of Mughal period. Its original name was fort Aurangabad which was built by Prince Muhammad Azam shah, the son of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. It is built in the capital city Dhaka in the year 1678. It was built for the purpose of being official residence for the governor of Mughal province including Bengal, Bihar and Orissa. We found the tomb of Pari Bibi, a mosque, fountains, water channels and lawns in the Mughal governor’s house complex. The Lalbagh fort is can be called the miniature version of great red fort and FatehpurSikri of India. We have found Mughal artillery guarded the fort which was resided the Buriganga River before. We have also found European paintings from 18th and 19th centuries depicted in the walls of Lalbagh fort. If you come in my place I will definitely take you to visit the Lalbagh fort of Dhaka.
I will wait for your reply. Write me when you will be coming in our house. Give my respect to uncle and aunt.
Your friend,
