Respected Sir / Madam
This letter is regarding account balance. My name is Chitra Sinha having a saving account SBCXXXX2341 in your XYZ bank. Last month my account balance was Rs 10,000/- . I used my account balance for home rent and grocery shopping where I spend Rs 7000/- and Rs 2900 /- respectively on 7th May 2023. I checked my account balance on 8th May 2023, it was Rs 200/-. Today is 20th June 2023, till date I didn’t use my account balance of Rs 200. When I checked my account balance it was showing a negative balance of Rs 300/- . How is this possible? I didn’t withdraw the cash nor I used my debit card then my account balance is shown negative. This morning I called the customer care support to check my account balance and complaint about the negative balance. The executive also informed my account balance is zero, I asked the reason to executive he replied that is it saving account so I need to keep a minimum balance of Rs 500 /- in my account every month. If the amount is less than Rs 500 then I would be charged for the same. When I opened my account in your XYZ bank no one informed about this term. The bank employee should have informed me about the minimum balance maintaining term so that I would be aware of this. I am in a loss of Rs 500 unnecessarily. Why I am supposed to pay the unnecessary charge where I wasn’t informed about it through the bank. I need my account balance back. This is not accepting for me. I want to complaint for deduction of money from my account plus charging me negative balance. I want you to check my account details and give me a resolution on this.I expect a quick response from bank side.
