Factors of 10:
- If we have taken numbers from 1, 2, 3…for checking factors of 10, we found that 10 has factors 1, 2, 5 and 10. Hence, we must say that 10 is a composite number.
- Thus, 10 is the composite number.
- If we multiply 10 by 1, 2, 3, then we get the multiples of 10 which are 10, 20, 30…and so on.
About the number 10:
- 10 has more than two factors which are 1, 2, 5 and 10 and hence it is the composite number.
- 10 is the even composite number and it is not the perfect square also.
- If we divide 10 by 1, 2, 5 and 10 then we get remainder as zero. Hence, 1, 2, 5 and 10 are the factors of 10.
Note:
- 10 is not the perfect square.
- Factors of 10: 1, 2, 5, 10
- Prime factors of 10: 2, 5
Conclusion:
- 10 is the composite number which has factors 1, 2, 5 and 10.
