Digital India A vision to transform India Essay: Digital India – A vision to transform India has a motto that is “power to Empower”. The campaign is launch by the government of India to make sure the Government’s services are made accessible to the general public electronically. Advanced online infrastructure and increase in the internet connectivity are schemed under the Digital India. This scheme is organised to make nation digitally empowered, in the field of technology.
Narendra Modi the Prime minister of India has launched Digital India scheme on date 1 July 2015. Digital India scheme is also beneficiary for other schemes of Government Startup India, Standup India, Bharatmala, make in India, BharatNet, Sagarmala, and industrial corridors. This scheme includes the strategy to attach the rural citizens with the high speed internet networks. This improved internet connection help in the connecting persons from urban and rural areas.
The Digital India – A vision to transform India scheme is enlisted with following 3 points which are core components of the scheme.
1) The digital infrastructure is providing the central part of benefit to each and every citizen.
CSC a common service centre is recognized.
Service made easy by connecting the phones with the bank accounts.
It provides every person unique digital identity.
Provides high speed internet.
2) Digital empowerment
Every person should be well-informed with the digital resources.
Submission of the documents and the bills physically is discouraged.
All the schemes are made available in the regional language.

1) Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan
This campaign has an objective to make all services available to the every person of the country.
2) Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao
Making sure wellbeing and encouragement to the girl child for studying.
3) Crop insurance on phone
Provided the crop insurance facility on the mobile phones so that it could be easily assessable to the farmers.
4) BHIM – Bharat Interface for money
UPI or unified payment interface is used to make payment fast and easy from the phones.
5) Start-up India on mobile
Start up India is an initiative taken by the government of India to promote start-ups or business ideas to enhance the economy.
6) EPFO
EPFO is an online portal started for the employees to verify their balance money in the provident fund.
7) E- pathshala
NCERT – (National council of educational research and training) has made this portal to make the contents available online which includes syllabus, books, videos, etc.
8) E- Hospital
HMIS – Hospital Management Information System provides the facility of the processes in hospital.
