Difference between Conventional and Non conventional sources of energy
Conventional sources of energy
- The sources of energy that is available in nature are known as conventional sources.
- Conventional energy is non renewable form of energy.
- These sources are present in limited extent, so after certain year it will run out of stock.
- Conventional sources of energy are decreasing due to industrialization, deforestazation.
- Due to its limited availability the conventional source of energy are getting costlier.
- Conventional sources of energy creates pollution after burning, which has very disastrous impacts like global warming, acidic rain etc.
- Fossil, coal, crude oils like petrol, diesel etc.
Non Conventional sources of energy
- The sources of energy that which are not used readily are termed as non conventional sources.
- Non conventional energy is renewable form of energy.
- These sources are present in unlimited extent, so they are available for long span.
- Conventional sources of energy are decreasing due to industrialization, deforestazation.
- The initial cost of installation of non conventional source is quite high, but apart from this they are almost free of cost.
- Non conventional sources of energy are pollution free, so they are environment friendly.
- Solar energy, Wind energy, Bio -gas etc.
