Difference between Good Sources of energy and Bad sources of energy
Good Sources of energy
- We are living in the digital world, where the forms of work are done with all possible shortcuts and using minimum amount of energy. For this energy forms which are available should have some specific characteristics to be a good source of energy.
- Good source of energy is able to do maximum work per unit mass.
- The form of energy is readily available for application.
- It is convenient to store and transform all over geographical locations.
- The most important that, it is available at low cost.
- The energy resources should be retaining for longer life.
- Electric energy, wind energy, solar energy etc.
Bad Sources of energy
- When the source of energy is obtained from very difficult forms then it is treated as bad source of energy.
- Bad source of energy should is not able to do maximum work per unit mass.
- Bad source of energy are not readily available for application.
- It is very difficult and inconvenient to store and transform all over geographical locations.
- The most important that, it is not available at low cost.
- The energy resource has limitations so that after some years it is going to an end.
- Eg. Fossil fuel, crude oil etc.
