(2) What does the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan aim at? How far has it been successful so far? List any five tasks related to cleanliness which the students must undertake.
Ans: Swach Bharat Abhiyan aimed to create public toilet, stop manual scavenging, educate people for sanitation and cleanliness, usage of bio toilet s and elimination of open defection.
To make it a grand success people awareness is much needed. Citizen of India must know their duty to make the environment echo friendly. For that education is the one which is first needed.
(4) Explain the main provisions of Prevention of Atrocities Act 1989 for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes. List any six offences which are punishable under this Act.
Ans: The main provision of prevention of Atrocities act 1989 is to prevent offences of atrocities against Sc/St and OBC s .It also provides relief and rehabilitation to the victims and s special court is also their for this kind of cases.
The six offences are –
1.) Insulation of any Sc/St
2.) Compel any Sc/St to become bounded labour.
3.) Unlawfully capturing the land of any Sc/St
4.) Forcefully harass any woman belong to Sc/St
