Subject: Complaint about poor maintenance and service in the hospital
Respected Sir,
MyselfSurabhi Thakre and I am a resident of Kadam society in Virar west. I am writing this letter by concerning civil hospital. It has poor maintenance and poor service which suffers patient.
I had recently visited the civil hospital for a health checkup and this is when I experienced the inadequate conditions and unsatisfactory level of care provided at the hospital. It is very disheartening to see the hospital in such a state.
The hospital is lacking proper maintenance and cleanliness. The corridors are full of dust and spider webs. It seems as if the washrooms have not been cleaned for months because a strong foul smell was emanating from the washrooms and people had spat tobacco and pan masala all over the walls of the washroom. This may further lead to spread of diseases. Also,I noticed that most of the equipment used was outdated or was not working properly. This may result in inaccurate diagnosis, inaccurate test results and may compromise patient health. The staff and the doctors are also inadequate which result in longer waiting periods and delayed checkups and treatments.
So, sir I request you to pay attention to this matter as it of grave concern because poor and middle-class people view civil hospital as their only source of treatment as they cannot afford to go to private hospitals. Hope you take immediate action.
Thanking you in anticipation,
Yours sincerely,
Surabhi Thakre
