Now solve the given questions
1.) 4/6 ÷2 =
Ans (2×6)/(4×1) = 12/4
2.) 6÷1/2
Ans (2×6)/1×1 = 12/1
3.) 8 ÷3/4
Ans (4×8)/3×1= 32/3
4.) 3/4 ÷6
(6×4)/(4×1 )= 24/4
5.) 2/5 ÷ 3/9=
(2×9)/5×3 = 18/15
6.) 5 ÷4/5 =
(5×5)/4×1 = 25/4

1.) Raju plucked two papayas. One of them weighed 1/4 kg. and the other weighed 1/2kg, so what is their total weight?
Ans: Raju plucked two papayas. One of them weighed 1/4 kg
the other weighed 1/2kg, so what is their total weight
Total weight = ( 1/2+1/4 kg)
= 3/4 * 1000
= 750 grams
Ans: total weight = 750 grams
2.) Ritesh drank 1/3 litre of milk daily and Seema drank 1/4 litre of milk. So how many litres of milk did they consume?
Ans: Ritesh drank 1/3 liter of milk daily
Seema drank 1/4 liter of milk.
Total liter= ( 1/3 +1/4)
= 7/12liter
Ans: They consume = 7/12liter.
3.) Ajay daily jogs . 2/5 and Sheelu 1/3jogs km. How many km. more than Ajay does Sheelu jog?
Ans: Ajay daily jogs . 2/5
Sheelu 1/3jogs km
Total weight = (. 2/5 -1/3)
= 1/5km
Ans – = 1/5km km. more than Ajay does Sheelu jog
4.) If a rectangular tile has 3/5 metre as the length and 1/2 metre as its breadth, What is its area? (Area of a rectangle = length × breadth) Type equation here.
Ans: length of a rectangle tile = 3/5
Breadth of a rectangle tile = 1/2
Area of a rectangle tile= 3/(5 ) *1/2
= 3/10m2
5.) Sarita had 8/10 kg. of sweet. She gave 1/2of this to Radha. How many kg. of sweet is left for ?
Ans: Sarita had 8/10 kg. of sweet
She gave 1/2of this to Radha
No of kg left = ( 8/10* 1/2)
= (2 )/5 kg
= 8/10 -1/2
= 4/10kg
