11007
Change the given to litres
8.) 5750 ml
Ans 5750÷1000
= 5.75
9.) 12050 ml
12050 ÷1000
= 12.05
10.) 6005 ml
6005 ÷1000
= 6.0005
11.) 15600 ml
= 15600÷1000
= 15.6l
12.) 900 ml
900÷1000
0.009
Solve
13.) Add 5.750 litre and 2.500 litre.
Ans 5.750 +2.500litre
= 8.25
14.) Subtract 8.750 litre from 12.250 litre.
Ans 8.750 -12.250
= 3.5
15.) Multiply 2.250 litre by 4
2.250 ×4
Ans 9
1.) A milkman gave 1 litre 500 ml of milk to one customer and 1 litre milk to another customer. How much litres of milk did he give?
Ans 9
2.) A kettle has 2 litre of tea. 500 ml tea was consumed so how muchtea is left in the kettle?
Ans Total amount of tea a kettle has 2liters
No of tea was consumed 500ml
Tea left in the kettle is= 500÷1000
= 0.5 litres
Amount left in the kettle is
0.5 -2
= 1.5
Kettle left with 1.5l of tea.
3.) Mohan drinks 250 ml of milkdaily. How much milk in litreswould be consumed in 4 days?
Ans amount of milk drunk by Mohan every day = 2508 ml
Amount of milk consumed by Mohan in 4 days will be
250×4
= 100ml
Mohan Wil consume 100 ml of milk in four days.
4.) If 1 litre juice was divided equally among 5 people, how many litres would each person get?
Ans Amount of juice – 1 litre
Juice is divided among 5 people = 1000÷5
= 200ml
To convert ml into litr
= 200ml ÷ 1000
= 0.2
5.) Rajesh bought 2.250 litres of Soybean oil, 3 litres of mustard oil and 500 ml of coconut oil from a shop. How Many litres of oil did he buy in all?
Ans Rajesh bought 2.250 litres of Soybean oil
3 litres of mustard oil
500 ml of coconut oil from a shop.
To convert ml to litre 500÷1000
= 0.5l
Total amount of oil litres he bought = 0.5 +3l + 2.250
= 5.75l
Total amount he brought is 5.75l
6.) A box has 1.6 litres of milk. How many mugs can be filled with this quantityif the capacity of each mug is 200 ml?
Ans A box has 1.6 litres of milk.
Now, to convert litres to millilitres = 1.6 ×1000
= 1600ml
No of mugs can be filled by
=1600÷200
= 8
Ans so 8 mugs can be filled with the capacity of each mug is 200 ml.
7.) One drum can hold 25 litres of water. How many litres of water can be filled in 7 such drums?
Ans One drum can hold 25l of water
7 drums can hold = 25×7
= 175l
Ans 175 l of water can be filled in 7drums.
8.) A shopkeeper has a drum with 15 litres of oil. He sold 3.250 litre, 5 litre and 2.300 litre oil to the three customers So, how much oil is left in the drum?
Ans A shopkeeper has a drum with 15 litres of oil
He sold 3.250 litre,
5 litre and2.300 litre oil to the three customers
Amount of oil left = 3.250 +2.300+5
= 10.55 -15
= 4.45l
Ans so, 4.45 ml is left in the drum.
9.) One bucket can hold 27 mugs of water. If the capacity of one mug is 300 ml,what is the capacity of the bucket?
Ans. One bucket can hold 27 mugs of water.
If the capacity of one mug is 300 ml
the capacity of the bucket is = 27×300ml
= 8100ml
The capacity of bucket is 8100ml.

Ans Firstly , it fills 800 litres
Water remaining= 600 – 800
= 5200 litres
After that it filled 400 litre tank water remaining
= 5200 – 400
= 4800
