Total weight = 1kg+ 2kg/ 250Gm
= 3kg + 250g
Ans: Total weight is 3kg + 250g
2.) If Nilu weighs 20.600 kg., Sanjay weighs 22.800 kg. and Kundan weighs 25kg. What is the weight of all of them together?
Ans: Nilu weighs 20.600 kg
Sanjay weighs 22.800 kg
Kundan weighs 25kg.
Total weight is 20.600kg+ 22.800kg+ 25kg
= 68.4 kg
3.) A shopkeeper bought 100 kg. sugar and carried it to his village. Due to a small hole in the sack, some of the sugar fell on the way. He reached his shop and weighed the sugar and found its weight 90.700 Howmuchsugar was lost from his sack?
Ans: A shopkeeper bought 100 kg.
Sugar left after fallen down is 90.700
Sugar left – 100- 90.700
= 9.300kg
Ans: 9.300kg lost from the sugar
4.) Ramesh bought a cabbage and a pumpkin from the market. The cabbage weighs 750 gram and the pumpkin 3.700 kg. Soby how many kgs. is the pumpkin heavier than the cabbage?
Ans: Ramesh bought a cabbage for 750 grams
Ramesh bought a pumpkin 3.700 kg
= 750/1000
= 0.750- 3.700kg
= 2.950kg
Ans: 2.950 kg pumpkin heavier than the cabbage.
5.) In the school 100 gram of rice is cooked for a child. So how many kgs. ofrice has to be cooked for 75 students?
Ans: In the school 100 gram of rice is cooked for a child.
office has to be cooked for 75 students
= 75 *100
= 7500g
To convert g into kg = 7500/1000
= 7.5kg
Ans: 7.5 kg of rice has to cookcked for 75 students.
6.) One sweet box contains 0.450 kg. of sweets, how many kgs. of sweet would be there in 10 such boxes ?
Ans: One sweet box contains 0.450 kg. of sweets,
No of sweet will be in 10 box will be = 0.450 kg * 10
= 4500
To convert gram into kilogram= 4500/1000
= 4.5kg
Ans: 4.5kg to be there in 6 boxes.
7.) One shopkeeper has 60 kg. of sugar. He divides this equally into 15 packets.So how many kgs. of sugar is packed in each packet?
Ans: One shopkeeper has 60 kg. of sugar
He divides this equally into 15 packets
So how many kgs. of sugar is packed in each packet is
= 60kg / 15 = 4kg
8.) How many packets of 250 gm. each can be made from 5 kg. of spices.
Ans: Total weight of 5kg
Each packet is 250 gm
No of packets can be made = 5*1000
= 5000g
= 5000g / 250g
= 20 packets
Ans: 20 packets can be made
9.) Ramlal had 235 kg. of rice. He sold 75 kg. on the first day, 85 kg. on the second day and 52 kg. on the third day. How many kgs. of rice is still left with him?
Ans: Ramlal had 235 kg. of rice.
He sold 75 kg. on the first day,
on the second day is 85kg
On third day is 52kg
No of rice left with him = 75kg+ 85kg+ 52kg
= 212kg
= 212kg – 235kg
= 12 kg
Ans: 12kg left with him.
10.) Manoj bought 6 bags each with 500 gm. of sugar. How many packets of 200gm. each can you make from this quantity of sugar?
Ans: Manoj bought 6 bags each with 500 gm. of sugar.
No of sugar bags can be made from 200 gm = 500×6
= 3000
= 3000÷200
= 15
Ans: 15 packets can be made.
