Answer: There is deforestation in large amount and that makes the lives of the animals endangered. The number of tigers is reducing day by day and if this happens to continue, a time will come that there won’t be tigers making them rare. So the poet says that these cubs could be the last ones ever to freely live and to roam and mate.
2.) ‘She waits for all the life she’s making’. What does the poet convey through this line?
Answer: The above line is used in reference with the life of a bear. The bear lives in gleaming snow but today’s issue of rising temperature is making the snow to melt.Global warming is reason why there is rise in temperature that has become hurdle in glaciers to grow, so the bear(she) waits to live her life normally.
3.) Why does the thrush weave her nest?
Answer: The thrush weaves her nest to hold her clutch. It wants to protect its livelihood.
4.) ‘The child could sing the final whale song,’ says the poet. Why does she say so?
Answer: Due to increase in industrialization the waste gets its way in the rivers, oceans, seas. etc. The pure beauty of the sea world is taken away. The whale that lives freely and happily in the water could die in such polluted water. If people don’t stop harming the animals and their world, they would no longer to be seen

Answer: Yes, it could be our last true moment because we, human keep continuing harming the lives of the animals then many species will not be seen in the future time. If man does not take fails to take proper action at the right time, there will huge loss for the animals.

Answer: The poem ‘Or Will the Dreamer Wake’ is about the pathetic condition of fauna. It not only focuses on the animals on the land but also from the polar region and water. It is about the endangerment of some species and their extinction in the future.
