Exam pattern:
National economics Olympiad exam is a school level Olympiad exam for class 11-12 students. This exam is conducted in two levels- prelims and mains exam respectively. In NEO preliminary exam students have to answers question of sections like logical reasoning, economics, data interpretation and case studies in the form multiple choice questions. Only selected candidates of prelims exam can appear main exam of national economics Olympiad exam. The theme of final exam will be announced on the exam time only.
Syllabus:
There is no specific topics for covering in syllabus of NEO exam. The exam is conducted in four sections which are logical reasoning, economics, case studies and data interpretation. Students have to answer 10 questions for each section carrying one mark for each question. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. Both stages of the exam will be conducted online so candidates must arrange their laptop/desktop before attempting the exam. After starting the exam.
