a) Data :- Data means raw facts and figures or unprocessed data. Data can be anything for example marks obtained by a student in various subjects and his roll number form data.
b) Information :- Information means processing of unprocessed data or meaningful data. For example Computer prepares result sheets using these data, which is the information.
c) Pen drive :- The other name for pen drive is flash drive . Nowadays you can even see that pen drives are widely used for storing data and information. It acts as a portable storage device that can be connected to the computer or laptop through its USB (Universal Serial Bus) Port. Pen drive is very small in size and transfers data at very fast time. The pen drive has the minimum storage capacity from 512 MB to maximum 100 GB.
d) Input devices :- The term Input means feeding of data or information into the
computer from the outside world. This feeding of data or information into the computer is done with the help of devices known as Input Devices. For ex:- Mouse,Keyboard, Scanner Microphone, Joystick etc. Different devices are used for different
purposes like Keyboard is used to input the data or information in a typed manner,
Scanner is used to input any document or image into the computer in a scanned manner
e) Output devices :- The term Output means releasing of the data or information from the computer to the outside world. In other terms it can be said as, displaying or showing the results to the user for the work done by the computer. The devices which are used to display the results to the user are known as Output Devices. Optical disc is a storage media which is circular in shape and is made up of metal,

There are some optical disc which are read only means you cannot write or (save) anything on the media disc whereas the other discs are read/write which means we can save the data and information on the disc as we save on the hard disc. The types of optical disc are
