Subject: Suggestion for the improvements in the college library.
Respected Sir,
I am student of B.Sc. final year. As a student librarian in-charge I am writing this email for the improvement of our college library. In addition, our college library lacks many things and has inadvertently discouraged the admirable habit of reading. So we would like to make some suggestions not only for the improvement of the college library but also for inculcating reading habits in the students.
If you walk into the library and it looks dull, the students actually call it a dark room. This needs to change. Placing a notice board around the library wall will give it a happy look. These can be used for attractive posters, readable quotes or interesting comments from reputed authors. There should be a rotating rack for magazines where students can browse and pickup journals to spend some time in the library. Book fairs should be organized and well labelled. Also the library needs up gradation of recent publications by authors.
These are some of our constructive suggestions. We hope you will consider our suggestions seriously and implement as soon as possible.
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Vivek Giri.
