Difference between Balanced and unbalanced force
Balanced force
1.) Two forces of equal magnitude and opposite direction acts on object forms balanced force.
2.) No displacement of object is produced due to balanced forces.
3.) Work done is zero.
4.) Resultant force acting on the object is zero.
5.) E.g.a) Satellite revolves around planets has two forces which are, gravitational force by planet and centripetal force due to its circular motion. Both of this force is equal in magnitude so that the orbital radius of satellite remains same throughout.
6.) E.g.b) In tug of war if the both side are of same strength can be considered as an example of balanced force.
Unbalanced force
1.) Two forces of unequal magnitude acts in opposite direction of object are called as unbalanced forces.
2.) Unbalanced force produces the displacement of object.
3.) Resultant force acting on object is not zero.
4.) Work is done by unbalanced force.
5.) E.g.a) The motion of trolley containing luggage of passengers pulled by coolie on railway platform.
6.) E.g.b) In tug of war if the both side are of different strength can be considered as an example of unbalanced force.
