The steps involved in the digestion are as follows –
(1) Mouth – the mouth is also known as the oral cavity. The process of digestion begins in the mouth.
In mouth saliva helps to moisten and soften the food so that it can be easily swallowed
(2) Food pipe – the food pipe is also called an oesophagus, the food pipe acts as a passage for the food to slide down the food from mouth to back legs structure called stomach.
(3) Stomach – the stomach is back like structure in the stomach the food changes into the paste like substance and then mixed with the gastric juice secreted by the crested glands of the stomach gastric juice helps in digestion of food.
(4) Liver and pancreas – there are two glands with secret juice which help to digest food.
The liver is the largest gland in the body. Liver secret by juice and pancreas secret pancreatic juice which contains certain enzymes that help in digestion of food
(5) Small intestine – it is the longest part of the digestive system.
It absorbs the nutrients from the digestive food and sends them to all the parts of the body through blood.
(6) Large intestine – it is at the lower end of the small intestine. It has tube like structure The largest time helps in absorption of water from the undigested food which is then pushed out as waste
(3) Explain the role of diaphragm in the process of breathing.
Answer:- The diaphragm moves themselves and the muscles between the ribs of the chest wall that causes the expansion and contraction of the lungs in this way breathing takes place.

Answer:- There is a pair of kidneys present in the human body.
The colour of the kidney is red due to the blood and it has been bean shaped. The kidney filters out the waste product from the blood. The waste which is in a light yellow colour liquid is called urine. And the blood gets purified in this way. The kidney helps in removing not only the harmful substances like urea from blood but also excess water from the blood.
