How to find out the value of cube root of 1000 –
We will find factors of the number 1000 then we will take cube root of the number. It is a value which when multiplied by itself three times gives the original value, 1000. So let’s start –
Step 1: Now we will find the factors of 1000.
1000 is divisible completely by 1,2,4,5,8,10,20,25,40,50,100,125,200,250,500 and 1000. So the Factors of 1000 are1,2,4,5,8,10,20,25,40,50,100,125,200,250,500 and 1000
Step 2: if 10 is multiplied three times, 10*10*10 =1000 the value is 1000
Step 3: Hence 10 is considered to be the cube root of 1000
Step 4: Therefore, we can say that the value of cube root of 1000 is 10
Step 5: We express the value of cube root of 1000 as ∛1000 = 10, Since the cube root symbol is denoted by ∛
Multiple Choice Question –
No 1) Which of the following integers are not the factors of 1000?
a) -1, -2, -10 ,-20
b) 6,12,15, 30
c) 100,200,125,250
d) 10,20,25,40
Answer – b) 6,12,15, 30
Since 6,12,15, 30 cannot divide 1000 completely.
No.2) What are the Prime factors of 1000?
