Early life
He was an English cricketer born on 4th October 1988 in Bridgetown, Barbados. He is the son of Robert Jordan and Robert Jordan and he has a sister Keisha Boyce. He is a right-arm fast bowler and a handy tail-ender. He spent most of his early days in Barbados after they shifted to England.

Professional life/Career Synopsis
Before coming to the international stage, he joined Surrey Cricket Club in the country championship. He did a most promising performance in the match in 2007 by scoring 20 wickets in 5 country championships. Because of this achievement, he won the Most Promising Younger Player Award for survey in 2007. Because of the stress fracture, a fast bowler missed all of the 2010 county season. In the series against Sri Lanka in 2014, he played a prominent role by scoring 12 wickets. As the reason for a such impressive performance he was selected for the 2016 T20 WC.
In June 2014 Jordan’s test debut came against Sri Lanka at Lord’s. He scored 3 wickets in the first innings and 2 wickets in the second innings. In the test squad, he got an opportunity because of his ODI performance. In 2014 he had a very good test series against India. Where he scored 10 wickets and England took the series. In the 2015 West Indis test tour, he was selected but he could only muster 6 scalps across the three test matches.
Controversies
In the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, the 3rd umpire gave him a run-out against Bangladesh but it was not. As replay suggested, his dive just saved him. But the umpire decided as a run-out. This is considered he controversial run-out.
