1.) How did Suraj and Tutu became friends?
Answer: Suraj’s father was ill and he went to fish alone. The river was rough hence the boat is turned up side down and Suraj fell into the river water. Suraj didn’t know swimming, he cried for help and continued to struggle for life. Then something beneath the water pushing him towards the bank. He was afraid, when he looked down he found that there is dolphin which saved Suraj’s life and then they became friends.
2.) How do dolphins get food?
Answer: Dolphin make clicking sounds and whistles under water and they find their food by sound. They listen to the echo produced by clicking sound made by them.
3.) What are the threats which dolphins are facing?
Answer: Dolphins are facing threats like Ganga River is being polluted and fishermen also create problems like Tutu’s father died when he was trapped in a big net.
4.) What happened to Suraj while fishing?
Answer: Suraj’s father Mangal was ill hence Suraj went for fishing alone. On that day the river was rough, the waves were high and it all turned the boat upside down. Suraj fall down and he didn’t know swimming the he began to drown and then suddenly a dolphin pushed him towards the bank and saved his life.

Answer: Dolphin lives in water. Dolphin is a mammal, it does not lay eggs and born and fed like humans. They breath air through the blow hole. Dolphins are found in many countries and live in various rivers and seas. They found in the north and far eastern seas and the Black and the Baltic seas. Dolphin from the sea can grow up to several metres. Some Dolphins are black and their belly is white. Even though Dolphin have 140 needle like teeth they catch and hold fish. They don’t chew like human; they just swallow their food. Dolphin produce clicking sounds and whistles and listen the echo produced by it. Dolphins can not see clearly. Dolphin is very helpful animal, if it sees danger it rushes to help.
