Early life of Aryan Juyal
Aryan Juyal was born on 11 November 2001 to Sanjay Juyal and Pratibha Juyal in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. His hometown is Haldwani, Uttarakhand. Both of his parents are doctors by profession. He has a younger sister named Aditi Juyal. When he was 4 years old, he sometimes used to accompany his father on morning walks. There Aryan would stop and watch young boys playing cricket. He then insisted his father buy him a bat and his father bought him one. From then on, his interest in cricket started to develop with time. Aryan did his schooling at the Aryaman Vikram Birla Institute of learning. He was barely seven or eight years old when he told everyone that one day he wanted to become a cricketer like Sachin Tendulkar. Since childhood, he has had a fondness for Sachin, and coincidentally now Juyal is playing for the same team that Sachin Tendulkar played for.
Personal/Love Life
Initially, with his parents both being doctors it was difficult for them to imagine their son’s career in cricket, but Aryan’s hard work and passion for cricket made them believe in him. Despite societal pressure, his family supported his dream.
Belonging to a small town like Haldwani, there were very limited facilities available for cricket. For coaching in cricket, he had to shift to Dehradun where he played cricket under Ravinder Negi, who’s a coach at Abhimanyu Cricket academy in Dehradun. After staying for 2 years in Dehradun, he moved to Moradabad. From Moradabad, he used to travel to Delhi for five days to get further training from Sanjay Bharadwaj, who’s a coach of the Aryan Shastri Cricket club. After his impressive performance in U-19 matches, he got the opportunity to be trained under Rahul Dravid.
He’s currently all focused on his career. He is not dating anyone as per reports.
Professional life and Career synopsis
Aryan made his U-19 debut for Uttar Pradesh. In 2017, with only five innings, he scored 401 runs and topped the batting charts for Vinoo Mankad Trophy. He was among the top five of the inter-zonal Vinoo Mankad Trophy. He earned a slot for his impressive performance in the Challenger trophy. In that match, he scored 171 runs in four innings and became the fourth-highest run-getter in 2017. In 2017 he was named to the 2018 U-19 Cricket World Cup squad. On 3rd February 2018, India won the finals against Australia. On 11 February 2018, in the Vijay Hazare trophy 2017-18 he made his List A debut. On 9 January 2018, he made his Under-19 International debut against South Africa where he made scored 86 runs. He made his T20 debut on 2 March 2019 in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2018-19 for Uttar Pradesh. He was then selected in India’s squad for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Bangladesh. On 9 December 2019, he made his First-class debut in the 2019-20 Ranji Trophy for Uttar Pradesh.
In February 2022, the Mumbai Indians bought him for a base price of INR 20 lakhs in the IPL auction.
