Forming a paragraph:
Alexander was born in Greek and was a student of Aristotle, the greatest Greek philosopher. Puru was a valiant Northern Indian monarch and a brilliant soldier. Puru declined to become Alexander’s vassal. So there was a big fight on the banks of the Jhelum between Alexander and Puru. Puru killed about a hundred soldiers, although he was severely injured and shackled during the combat. Puru lost the fight but his generals and warriors fought extremely courageously. He lost the fight because he deployed ancient combat techniques and elephants. Alexander directed his generals to free Puru from the shackles and bring him to him. He inquired as to why Puru had declined his offer.Puru stated that he was the legitimate owner of his realm. As a result, he declined the invitation to be his subordinate. Puru’s fearlessness and self-esteem impressed Alexander, so he became his best buddy. Alexander destroyed many more kings in addition to Puru, becoming the world conqueror, and was known as Alexander the Great.
II.) Rewrite the playlet as a short story. You may follow the steps given below: Read the drama script as many times as necessary.
Answer:
Alexander once established a camp at Jhelum while discussing with his four generals. He was admitting that this conflict would go recorded in Indian history. Alexander praised the Indian army and warriors. Alexander agreed to the fact that Greek generals were superior to Indian generals. They agreed on this issue, explaining that Indian generals were old-fashioned fighters who used ancient military techniques. They lauded Puru’s bravery, his injuries, and the army’s victories.
Later Alexander ordered his generals to free Puru since he was a valiant guy. When Alexander summoned this monarch named Puru before him, he asked him whether he was apologetic for his blunder. Puru assured Alexander that he had made no mistakes in refusing his proposition and also that he continued to be the legal ruler. Alexander was taken aback and inquired of Puru about how he ought to treat him, to which Puru responded by saying that he should treat him, the way a king would treat another king Puru . When Alexander heard this, he liberated Puru and both consented to fairness and full independence, following which the generals knelt before each of them.
