Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh, alias UPMSB  is a recognized board of High School and Intermediate level administered by Uttar Pradesh state government  and it is headquartered in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. UPMSB  was established in 1931. The current chairman is Neena Shrivastava . UPMSP flaunts the highest number of pupils under it in whole Asia with nearly 6100000 students sitting for board examinations every year. UPMSP takes care of the need for providing quality education to the students of state and ensuring highly skilled and knowledgeable young minds inspired to achieve  ethical conduct and holistic approach to knowledge.

Responsibilities of UPMSP

UPMSP is responsible for providing education to all the students from class 1 to class 12 under the board.  UPMSP oversees  the affiliation to schools in the state and makes sure no scam is going on by regular inspection and auditing visits. UPMSP also prepares syllabus, textbooks and supplementary study material for all the High School students and schools affiliated with the board need to comply with the same.
