The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) conducts Olympiad exams on different subjects yearly for grade 1-12 in definite time. Eligibility:

NCO and IGKO exams are available for students of grades 1-10. NSO, IMO and IEO exams are available for students from grades 1-12. ICO exam which is international commerce Olympiad, students can participate in grades 11 and 12 only. Syllabus of SOF Olympiad Exam:

There is no particular syllabus available for the preparation of science Olympiad exam and international Olympiad exams. The board basically follows CBSE, ICSE and other state boards to prepare the questions as the topics included in individual class. It is recommendable for students to keep an open eye for learning from their surroundings. Students will be completely prepared and confident when they focus on learning outside their textbooks and they do not worry about studying other books too for increasing their subjective knowledge. The exam pattern for each Olympiad exam also varies based on its subjects. Students get total 60 minutes for finishing their paper of national cyber Olympiad which includes 35 MCQ questions for grades 1-4 and 50 questions for grades 5-12.
