Ans- The production of crop does not increase due to only one factor, there are several factors to increase the production of crop. Some ways which are useful to increase production of rice in our country are as follows:
- We need quality and variety of seeds planted.
- We need properties and availability of soil.
- We need proper application of irrigation and fertilizers.
- Control of insect attack and weeds should be done.

Ans- By chemical fertilizers we can high yield for only 20-30 years. After that the soil becomes reluctant to plant growth. The chemical fertilizers used in farming damage the soil fertility. In farming if the soil is healthy then only it can respond to the fertilizers, for the good yield biofetilizers are used which will give many years yield and don’t damage the soil fertility. To maintain soil productivity organic farming is done in this biofertilizers are used. They don’t have nutrients in it, they synthesize nutrients from environment and soil. These are called as farmer eco friendly fertilizers.

It does not damage the soil fertility and can give high yield. Biofertilizers don’t have nutrients in it, they synthesize from environment and soil it’s a natural process without using chemicals. Biofertilizers are used in organic farming, it is also called as farmers eco friendly fertilizers.

Ans- The essential measure that a farmer needs to take before sowing seeds of a crop are as follows:

Ans- If I would have a farm in drought stricken area I would grow rice and soyabean in the farm. Rice is so important in daily life so many people need it to eat daily so I choose rice to grow. These crops are suitable in drought stricken area. Using biofertilizers I would have sowed the crops because these are eco-friendly fertilizers and no harm it causes.

Ans- I would look after the field very carefully so that crops could not be eaten by insects. To protect the field we should check the insects by fertilizers because soke insects are useful for crops. Use of fertilizers can outburst insects and keep our farm safe.
Q7. A farmer had been using a particular insecticide for a long time. What consequences will it have on- a) insect population b) soil ecosystem?
Ans- Using insecticides for a long time it is more attached to the soil i.e. the use of insecticides decrease the insect population. It becomes a habit to the soil of that insecticides, but this decreases the insect population and it is good for the productivity of crop. Soil ecosystem changes by the use of insecticides because soil needs some insects also by which the crops can live longer and grow properly.

There will not be high yield of crops. It leads to water pollution also and is hazardous to biodiversity. All this can decrease the crop yield. Farmers actually need to understand the difference between chemical fertilizers and organic fertilizers and how they work.

Ans- I would tell him to cultivate the sugarcane because sugarcane is suitable in drought area. It is beneficial in production of sugarcane.

In reality, Venkatapuram village has inadequate water supply so it is not suitable for sugarcane cultivation. So, It’s not Beneficial for Farmers for Cultivating the sugarcane in that fields. Because nothing is Achieved by the cultivation of the sugarcane in the field and it is the waste of time
