Ans: – The levels of all time seas equals in the world because all the seas in the world are connected to each other so all over the world is taken to be roughly the same . The height of the sea weaves can sometimes be low or high. But levels are always be same.
(2) How is the sea level measured?
Ans: – The level of the sea is carefully measured. There are high tides and low tides on the level of the sea. They never stand still over a period scientists are observed the high & low levels of the sea by satellites and they have come to one calculated average level, which is known as Mean sea Level (MSL).
(3) What are the uses of maps showing height?
Ans: – In the map we can express on showing height by using different shades of colours. By sing maps we could know the exact location of mountain villages, river slopes, and the plateau region. Map showing heights are very essential when roads or dams have to be constructed. All over they tell us the elevation and the nature of terrain.
(4) What differences do you find between the life style of people living on high altitudes and low altitudes?
