Answer: The havoc caused by the Tsunami is the central theme of the poem. The destruction caused by it is dangerous.

Answer: Wave of the tsunami is referred to the ‘hand.’ It was born from the belly of the ocean.( under the ocean)
3) Identify the most striking line in the poem.
Answer: The most striking line in the poem is There was crashing and crunching and tearing apart, Seeping its way into everyone’s heart.
4.) Describe the damage caused to mankind due to ‘Tsunami’. Locate the words or expressions which tell the fury of ‘Tsunami’.
Answer: Tsunami took a major toll on the mankind. It took lives of many people and animals as well. The words or expressions which tell the fury of ‘Tsunami’ are dreadful might, white horses galloping ashore, sweeping hundreds of thousands off their feet, crashing and crunching and tearing apart, Brutally killed by a hungry hound.
5.) Why do you think only a few could understand the meaning of ‘Tsunami’?
Answer: People who could not go at safe place were grabbed by the tsunami and lost their lives. The same was with the animals. The havoc it caused was witnessed by those survived in that situation so they very well understood what Tsunami means.
