c.) Why do you think, the mother said, “It would be good to start with a fish as a friend?”
Ans. The mother, after seeing the poet’s list, said that it would be good to start with a fish as a friend first. This is because the mother knows that it is not possible to get the animals from the list as friends. Also, starting with a fish would be easier as the poet is a child, and cannot take care of such big animals.
