a) Why do men hunt animals?
Men hunt animals mostly for fun and at times for making use of their skin and their valuable body parts to carry out illegal trades.
b) Name some animals that face the danger of disappearing altogether.
Some endangered species are tigers,
lions, cheetahs, rhinoceroses, wild buffaloes, lion tailed monkeys and white polar bears.
c) Where are lions found in India?
Lions are found in Gir National Park in Gir, Gujrat of India.
d ) Since when has the cheetah been extinct in India?
Since the independence of India, i.e , from the year 1947 Cheetah’s have been extinct in India.
e) Where are the Long tailed monkeys found?
These animals are found in The South Indian region of Kerala and its beautiful valleys.
