Water is the basis of all living beings, be it animals, plants, birds or human beings. It seems an ordinary and common thing but with its unremarkable quality it is most important and uncommon resource. Right from quenching thirst to developing the cities water has immense power.
2) Water exists in all plant and animal forms– Explain.
Answer: Water is a common basic need in all living beings. Be it animals or plants water is essential. Every animal or plant contains a substantial proportion of free or combined water in its body. No physiological activity is possible without fluid being its basic and important part. Without it there would not be such activity or life. Water helps maintain the moisture in the soil which is important for the lives and overall development of the plants and trees. The quantity may vary for the different species but the importance of water remains unchanged. Even for the lives of animals it plays key role.
